2012 – The Awakening (Part 8) « The Sacred Art of Language.

The Sacred Art of Language

This will be my final post in this series. When I posted Part 1 on January 1st of this year, I had so many topics and ideas burning in my brain, that it could have easily filled 20+ posts. As the months went by, my enthusiasm waned a bit, and my interests, my time and energy were directed elsewhere. But I would still like to say a few words to end the series properly, and maybe provide some semblance of closure.

So the year 2012 is drawing to an end, the much anticipated date of 12/21/2012 has come and gone… and here we are. What has happened? What, if anything, has changed? Was it all just a bunch of hype?

Well the world didn’t end, that’s for sure - there was no meteor impact, no alien invasion, no tidal waves, no apocalypse, no Rapture. And there was no drastic shift in consciousness, no spontaneous Awakening or Ascension of the human species. Here in KC the sun was shining, the workers were working, the shoppers were shopping and life went on as usual – the solstice was a pretty normal day. And so was the next day, and the next…

But all around the world, record numbers of people came together with their hearts, minds and intentions focused on Love, Light, enlightenment and evolution. In homes and in churches, in temples, ashrams and yoga studios, and outside under the wide open sky, people everywhere were praying, and holding a collective vision of a New Age of peace on Earth.

We didn’t all simultaneously leap into a new state of consciousness with the flip of a switch, but the kind of intention and group focus that we witnessed on 12/21 has tremendous power. You can be sure that the effects are rippling out through space and time in ways that we do not comprehend.

Just because we didn’t change dimensions, doesn’t mean we didn’t change direction.

I know that change in direction will become increasingly clear as the days go by. Evolution is not instantaneous. The eternal Now is always transforming and renewing itself, and that transformation is from within, outward. What we have concieved within, as a dream and a vision, is shaping and forming and birthing itself and will in due time blossom into manifestation…

The inner growth and transformation of individuals has never been so profound and so widespread. The massive unrest we are witnessing around the world shows that society too is changing and transforming. Advances in science, computers, information and communication are rapidly converging on the point known as the ‘technological singularity.’ The road ahead is new territory and things are getting very interesting…

We are in metamorphosis, my friends!

For me, 12/21/2012 will always be a symbol of the New Dream: the day that humankind collectively stated our intention to live in Light, Love and Peace. The course is chosen, the way is clear. Hold the vision, keep the faith, and walk the path. Live, laugh, love, evolve!

Thanks for reading. Merry Christmas everybody! Hope you had a wonderful time with your loved ones, and I wish you all a blessed and happy New Year!

Galactic Alignment 2012? – Waking Times : Waking Times.

December 17, 2012

Chris Bourne, Openhand Contributor
Waking Times

December 17, 2012

So we’re rapidly approaching the much heralded and prophecised Galactic Alignment, where the earth aligns with the sun through the galactic equator and according to some interpretations of the Mayan’s “Popol Vu”, it will also coordinate with the completion of what’s known as the “Precession of the Equinoxes”, which is caused by the ‘wobble’ of the Earth’s polar axis subscribing a 26,000 year cycle through the 12 constellations of the Zodiac. As I understand it, the Mayans configured their “Long Count” calendar around the prediction to complete on 21st December 2012. Is this true and what might we expect to happen as a result?…

Xibalba be

I should quickly add, that many disagree with the timing of this event. Astronomers point to the calculations of Jean Meeus (Mathematical Astronomy Morsels, 1997) who concluded that it actually takes 36 years for the sun to pass through the alignment centred around 1998. By this calculation, there would be a window from 1980-2016 where alignment has already been happening every winter solstice. If he’s correct, and personally I feel a rightness with it, then we’re unlikely to witness anything extraordinary other than trends that have already been happening across the planet (which I’ll come onto in a moment).

Of course there’s quite a spiritual body invested in the Mayan predictions around 2012. To me, the exact timing matters not a jot, because lasting shifts of consciousness happen not according to some particular timing. That said, if we’re open to them, cosmic alignments like these, can temporarily at least uplift consciousness (which we must then integrate over time if they are to remain). And right now, like others, I do feel some pretty major cosmic shifts going on.

The Mayans accurately described a supermassive black hole at the centre of our Galaxy way before modern science discovered it. Passage along this ‘dark road’ or “Xibalba be” as the Mayans more romantically knew it, occurs with the retrograde movement of the Earths polar axis towards the ‘dark rift’ at the Galactic Centre. The Mayan culture apparently considered this as a journey into the underworld, a time of expanded consciousness. Certainly in my observations in facilitating evolving people, there definitely seems to be an acceleration into the darkened inner veils that limit – offering enormous opportunity for people to confront their fears and expand through them.

At this current time, I especially feel the underlying movements of energy as heavy denseness on the global plane of the intellect. Although I don’t feel heavy in myself, I can feel a heaviness infusing my field, an increased density, but one does have to be expanded into multiple dimensions in order to feel it.

Great Opportunity

Many have said that such Galactic Alignment – coinciding with the Precession – has in the past tended to cause dramatic earth changes like pole shifts, solar storms, volcanic activity and even earth crust displacement. For me, I feel the transition is more protracted, aligned with the 36 year window. We are for example already witnessing a gradual pole shift, reduction of the earth’s magnetic field, increasing volcanic activity and earthquakes plus freak weather all at a time when solar storm activity is moving towards a zenith of its natural cycle. So there is definitely the increasing possibility of disruptive events on a global scale, although not necessarily centred around any key date. It is more that we’re traveling into an increasing period of uncertainty and therefore escalating probability of ‘turbulence’.

What we must also take into consideration, are how mass spiritual meditation and ceremony could affect life in various locations in a positive way. And on the other side of the coin, we’re already witnessing escalating popular unrest in hot spots around the world, probably due to the increased catalytic agitation of consciousness. To make matters even more challenging to predict, we cannot rule out ‘false-flag’ scares by the ‘powers-that-be’. These times are indeed a challenge – and therefore an opportunity – of increased personal awareness and responsibility. On the road to Xibalba, there will be many shadows and we must allow the direction of a loving heart to take precedence.

So this ongoing transition is without doubt a great opportunity. Even if the various alignments do not happen as and when predicted, it is clear to many that the Earth indeed is undergoing a major transition. The signs, synchronicities and feelings strongly suggest to me at least, that her centre of consciousness is centering in the Fifth Density. I strongly believe this in itself is the major shift causing the current accelerated awakenings, fragmenting of the old fear based consciousness and a reharmonisation of vibration. It certainly feels that way to me.

Free Will and Self Determination

As this planetary shift currently takes place, I feel the soul of Gaia beginning to squeeze through the plane of the intellect. In my knowing a grid of dense energy, has over the millennia, been established within the human mass psyche by a 4th Dimensional Opposing Consciousness. This “Matrix” is interwoven through the very fabric of society. I’ve frequently spoken of it being unwound and fragmented. To me, this feels like a crucial time in that unwinding. I sense Gaia – and a variety of cosmic energies – gathering at this crucial juncture to break apart various elements of this vibrational matrix, repatriating the Opposing Consciousness and liberating humanity on the mental plane. Wouldn’t it be wonderful were that to happen!

And what about predicted mass awakenings? Well certainly, if such events are marked by a concentration of human focus, if people are caused to look up from the pavement and through the neon lighted sidewalks to the starlit heavens above, that can only be a good thing. Humanity needs as many mirroring opportunities as possible these days. But let’s be clear, no matter what the shift of consciousness that takes place, we still have to process our own inner darkness and clear it in order for the expansion to integrate and remain a part of an expanded awareness.

No matter what goes on, we are blessed with free will. Our Ascension is a constant conscious choice, which although can be spiked during key events such as these, can only be fully integrated by walking the Spiritual Path. And that in itself happens not just on one key day. It takes time, persistence and great patience.

About the Author

Chris Bourne – At the age of 40, I was involved in a life threatening car crash in which I thought I would certainly die. This precipitated total inner surrender and a rapid reconnection with the conscious life force through all things.

I found myself suddenly able to experience and contemplate through multiple dimensions of reality to see the deeper purpose of life itself. It was then I began to fully realise my true reason for being here.

During the crash, time seemed to slow right down and I was guided back through key moments of my life. I was realising that every moment in our lives has but one underlying purpose – to reveal an aspect of truth about ourselves to ourselves. I was beginning to dissolve every belief and value our society had conditioned within me.

This was my initial awakening to the magical unifying consciousness of the soul. Over the eight years that followed, I was guided through four other inner ‘Gateways’ of consciousness. I have since come to know the process as the five key expansions on our journey of Enlightenment and ultimate Ascension into multi dimensional living – our divine birthright.

My consciousness expansion however did not end there. It continued to blossom and expand. I became acutely aware of a highly evolved, benevolent presence, working through the weave of life since the dawning of time itself. I have come to know this Group of Nine intimately. It guides my life and is the basis of Openhand itself.

Doomsday? No way. Ancient Maya said we’ll be around another 7,000 years or so.

This December, not everyone is concerned with making plans for the New Year—especially not the people who think doomsday will get here first. Instead of planning parties, they’re stockpiling food, refining escape routes, and honing survival skills ahead of the alleged date on which the Maya calendar “ends”—December 21, 2012.

So should we all be preparing for imminent apocalypse? According to the scholars, no.

The ancient Maya are usually cited as the predictors of the world coming to an end this month: One of their “great cycles” supposedly ends now. But the Maya were brilliant mathematicians and fantastic record keepers. They didn’t have just one calendar. They developed many different kinds, including a cyclical solar calendar and a sacred almanac. They also measured time with something known as the Long Count, which were great cycles of 5,000 years.

Somewhere along the way a rumor spread about the current great cycle, indicating it ends on December 21, 2012. This sparked the belief among some that the last of our days are upon us.

apocalyptic theories

Due to the Mayan calendar, in this period many people are fraught with eschatological prophecies of the coming end of the world on December 21. However, this fear is not new to humanity.

The fear of the end of the world obsessed human mind for millennia: floods, eternal fire, sandstorms, twilight of the gods. Faced with the great cycles of nature, people lived for centuries under the rule of fear that winter or night will never go. Centuries later, we are still afraid of the “Judgment day”, imagining a nuclear winter, environmental destruction, a giant asteroid colliding with our planet…

The Aztecs believed that every 52 years there was a risk that the Sun would disappear and made human sacrifices to ensure its rebirth.

Rains play an important role in the myths about the world’s end. The myth of the Flood is one of the oldest ones and appeared long before the legend of the Noah’s Ark.

In Mesopotamia, the flood appears in mythology in the Sumerian epoch and culminates in the Epic of Gilgamesh, in the 8th century BC.

Tornadoes also appear in Greek and Roman antiquity. The first flood of Greek antiquity is the Ogygian flood, dating back to the 5th century BC, and then comes the legend of Atlantis described by Plato.

In the Book of Genesis, God decides to destroy humans and animals in the flood of Noah. In the New Testament we also find flood, fire and final judgment, the model of the divine court of the Egyptian Osiris.

In West Africa, the most widespread myth is the myth of pumpkin that swallows whole villages and the entire humanity.

The myth of ecumenical (universal) fire exists in Greece, Scandinavia, India, and cultures of American Indians. It is often accompanied by a flood, such as the Hindu cosmogony with the four types of annihilation (pralaya). The Aztecs also mentioned four consecutive disasters, including water and fire.

Together with the monotheistic religions, myths of the Apocalypse came. The “Apocalypse” of Jewish prophets was followed by the Biblical “Revelation of John”.

In the world of Islam, there is also a description of the destruction of the world by sandstorm, invasion or fire, accompanied by the Day of Judgment.

In the Middle Ages, the advent of the year 1000 provoked fear of the end of the world in the Europe extinct by the plague and hunger. In 1013, a solar eclipse reawakened fear, while the approach of the year 2000 became a cause of irrational phobias.

Thus you can see that the story repeats. So the question is: is there any adequate cause for us to be afraid of the end of the world this time?

7 strange and unexpected discoveries made in 2012 | Learning Mind.

god particleAll the time scientists and researchers discover new things on the planet Earth and out of it. Here is a list of strange and unexpected discoveries made during the year 2012:

1. Sugar in Space

Astronomers found that simple sugar molecules floating in the space around a star about 400 light years away suggest the likelihood of life on other planets. The term “sugar” is used referring to organic molecules known as carbohydrate, consisting of oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon.

2. New planet in our solar system

As said by a study published in May, another unexplored planet might be rotating in the fringes of our solar system. “Being too far away to be detected by telescopes, the planet seems to make its presence disrupting the orbit of the so-called Kuiper Belt (small icy bodies, located beyond the orbit of Neptune, among of which are some dwarf planets)” says Rodney Gomes of the National Observatory of Brazil.

3. The God particle

In July it was reported that two separate research teams working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) discovered a new particle, which was exactly where the Higgs boson, known as the “God particle”, was expected to be.

4. “Unknown” life in Antarctica

A camera equipped with an underwater robot discovered barnacles, crabs, anemones and octopuses, most of which are colorless and live in total darkness at a depth of 2,400 meters in the Pacific Ocean.

5. System of nine planets

According to a study in April, HD 10180, a star like the Sun in the southern constellation Hydrus, might have up to nine planets in orbit, located in the respective points of the eight official planets of our solar system.

6. The mysterious Mayan calendar

Archaeologists have discovered an unbelievable mural filled with numbers that were used by ancient people to calculate the year. The famous Mayan calendar is the most accurate one in human history, and, in contrast with the prophecy of the destruction of the world in December 2012, it seems to be continuing beyond this date… (You can read more about this finding here)

7. The Mayan “Temple of the Sun”

The Mayan temple in the jungles of Guatemala, one of the most popular discoveries of 2012, reveals many details about the Mayan civilization, which, unlike the Aztecs and the Incas, was a loose congregation of city-states.

Knowledge passed from generation to generation.

The fourth world shall end soon, and the fifth world will begin. This the elders everywhere know.”

We are told of the coming of the white- skinned men, like Pahana, but not living like Pahana. Men who took the land that was not theirs. And men who struck their enemies with thunder.

A strange beast like a buffalo, but with great long horns, will overrun the land in large numbers.

The land will be crossed with snakes of iron.”

The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider’s web.

The land shall be criss-crossed with rivers of stone that make pictures of the sun.

You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it.

You will see many youth, who wear their hair long like my people, come to join tribal nations, to learn their ways of wisdom.

You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of my people will cease. These are the signs that great destruction is coming. The world shall rock to and from. The white man will against other people in other lands_with those who possessed the first light of wisdom.

From Wiki:

The Nibiru cataclysm is a supposed disastrous encounter between the Earth and a large planetary object (either a collision or a near-miss) which certain groups believe will take place in the early 21st century. Believers in this doomsday event usually refer to this object as Planet X or Nibiru. The idea that a planet-sized object could collide with or pass by Earth in the near future is not supported by any scientific evidence and has been rejected as pseudoscience by astronomers and planetary scientists.[1]

The idea was first put forward in 1995 by Nancy Lieder, founder of the website ZetaTalk. Lieder describes herself as a contactee with the ability to receive messages from extra-terrestrials from the Zeta Reticuli star system through an implant in her brain. She states that she was chosen to warn mankind that the object would sweep through the inner Solar System in May 2003 (though that date was later abandoned) causing Earth to undergo a pole shift that would destroy most of humanity. The prediction has subsequently spread beyond Lieder’s website and has been embraced by numerous Internet doomsday groups, most of which link the event to the 2012 phenomenon. Although the name “Nibiru” is derived from the works of the late ancient astronaut writer Zecharia Sitchin and his interpretations of Babylonian and Sumerian mythology, Sitchin denied any connection between his work and various claims of a coming apocalypse.

May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong.

~Chief Dan George~ Oh, Great Spirit
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
hear me, I am small and weak,

I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Make my hands respect the things you have
made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have
hidden in every leaf and rock.

I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy – myself.

Make me always ready to come to you
with clean hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my Spirit may come to you without shame.

China fears end of the world is nigh

China’s most famous book of prophecies, the 7th century Tui Bei Tu, makes no direct mention of the end of the world.

But in Sichuan province, panic buying of candles has swept through two counties in the fear that an ancient Mayan prediction that the world will end on December 21 proves to be true.

“Candles are selling by the hundreds, with buyers constantly coming to the market. Many stores have run out,” said Huang Zhaoli, a shopper at the Neijing Wholesale Market, to the West China City Daily newspaper.

Mr Li, the owner of the Guangfa grocery store in Chengdu, added: “Lots of people have been buying candles recently. At first, we had no idea why. But then we heard someone muttering about the continuous darkness”.

The source of the panic was traced to a post on Sina Weibo, China’s version of Twitter, predicting that there will be three days of darkness when the apocalypse arrives.

Since the beginning of December, the word “Mayans” has trended on Weibo as millions of normally phlegmatic Chinese speculate that the end is nigh. “If the Mayans are right, I won’t pay my credit card bill,” was one popular post.

In Shanghai, the police have had to issue a public warning about doomsday. “The end of the world is a rumour,” the police said, in an internet post. “Do not believe it and do not be swindled”.

A spokesman said they had handled 25 apocalypse-related cases in one 24-hour stretch. Most of the scam artists took advantage of credulous pensioners, encouraging them to hand over their savings for one last act of charity.

In Nanjing, a 54-year-old university professor’s wife took out a £100,000 mortgage on her £300,000 home, saying she would donate the money to underprivileged children, saying she hoped to “do something meaningful before the world ended”.

Last month, a man in the far west province of Xinjiang made news when he spent his life savings of £100,000 to build an ark for 20 people.

Lu Zhenghai began building the 65ft ship in 2010. “When the time comes, everyone can take refuge in it.” However, as the deadline approaches, Mr Lu has reportedly run out of cash to finish the boat.

He said if the apocalypse failed to materialise, he would use the boat to take tourists on sightseeing tours.

In Chengdu, a web company has given its workers a tongue-in-cheek two-day break on Dec 19 and 20. “We suggest you take advantage of this ‘final’ time to spend more time with your closest family. We wish everyone a meaningful doomsday,” it said.

China has no history of preoccupation with the apocalypse, and the current wave of paranoia can be traced to the 2009 Hollywood disaster film “2012″. While the movie received a tepid welcome elsewhere, it was a smash hit in China, as viewers were seduced by a plot that saw the Chinese military build arks to save humanity.

Lu Jiehua, a professor with the Department of Sociology at Peking University, told the Global Times, meanwhile, that the paranoia reflects a general anxiety running through Chinese society.

“This panic buying [in Sichuan] not only shows people’s fear of an upcoming apocalypse, but also reflects their sense of uncertainty toward life and society,” he said.
