Crop cicles

ALIENS ANSWERED THE ARECIBO MESSAGE MAKING CROP CIRCLES – YouTube.

What if you were told that someone answered the Arecibo message that Carl Sagan sent into space decades ago ?

“Beware the bearers of false gifts & their broken promises. Much pain but still time. There is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit closing.”

In August 2001 two new crop formations were reported near Chilbolton radio telescope in Hampshire, UK. Both were very impressive looking and consisted of a large number of small ‘pixels’, which when viewed from the air formed a recognisable shape – unlike many other crop formations.

One represented a “human face” and the other resembled AN ANSWER to the Arecibo message. A radio transmission that SETI (the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence), sent from the Arecibo radio telescope in 1974

Then one year later, in August 2002, another impressive formation was discovered just to the west of Winchester (only about 8½ miles to the southeast of the Chilbolton formations). An “alien face” with a circular grid containing a coded message.

When the code is broken, it reads:

“Beware the bearers of false gifts & their broken promises. Much pain but still time. There is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit closing.”

Are these circles genuine? We cant know for sure, since no one investigated them to see if there were significant crop/soil anomalies. But they do seem very sophisticated.

Black Country crop circles prove phenomenon is no hoax, claims Australian expert – Birmingham Mail.

Crop circles are not the work of hoaxers and aerial photos of the Black Country can prove it, says Australian boffin.

AN Aussie historian believes he has buried forever the ‘cereal’ lie that crop circles are the work of hoaxers – by unearthing Black Country images of them dating back to 1945 and beyond.

It’s ‘barley’ believable, but Greg Jefferys has also uncovered evidence of the phenomenon in scientific documents dating back to 1880.

The boffin, from Hobart, Tasmania, says his findings prove there’s more to the mysterious circles than hoaxers playing silly tricks.

“This discovery proves that claims by various artists to be the sole creators of crop circles are themselves a hoax,” he says.

“It just goes to show that the circles remain unexplained.

“I hope this discovery will stimulate renewed interest in crop circles by serious scientific researchers who have been fooled by the hoax claims.”

Greg, aged 59, who cut his teeth locating shipwrecks, used Google Earth’s new 1945 overlay – images of places taken 68 years ago – to make the breakthrough.

He spent more than 300 hours scouring the English countryside using the technology – and found a large number of crop circles.

Two of the most significant were on the outskirts of Stourbridge.

  • Wiltshire known as capital of crop circles

It appeared overnight, a mysterious snake-like crop circle weaving across a wheat field in Wiltshire.

The 350ft-long installation is marked out of a field near the 200-year-old Alton Barnes White Horse chalk figure.

Dubbed a Venus ‘sunfish’, the circle is thought to capture the ‘transit of Venus’, an astronomical phenomenon which began last week and will continue until the beginning of July.

The crop circle shows Venus’ period of visibility as a morning star, where it rises with the sun, and tracks its ascension in the sky following the sun through its rising and setting stages.

The ancient Mayans spent much of their time recording the path of Venus, splitting its 584-day cycle of the planet into four distinct parts.

Amateur photographer, Matthew Williams, said: ‘I was quite excited to find it in the morning as I hadn’t known there was anything there the night before.

‘It must have appeared in the hours of darkness. It’s very spooky.’

Stargazers from across the globe have been gathering to watch the rare astronomical spectacle.

From the U.S. and UK to South Korea, people around the world have been turning their attention to the daytime sky to make sure they caught Venus passing directly between the sun and Earth – a transit that won’t occur again for another 105 years.

The transit of Venus happens in pairs eight years apart – but then with more than a century between cycles.

During the pass, Venus appears as a small, dark round spot moving across the face of the sun, like a bug on a dinner plate.

Crop circles continue to fascinate enthusiasts, but whether they’re made by aliens or people with GPS devices still remains a subject of debate for some.

The geometric patterns range in size from a few inches to hundreds of feet across and have been as large as 200,000sq ft.

Stalks are bent down around an inch above the ground before the plants are laid in precise patterns.

In recent years, a booming tourist trade has developed. From Belgium, Holland, America, Norway and Australia, crop-circle spotters or croppies come in their thousands — each with their own theory, each rushing to a new site as soon as it is reported.

Wiltshire is known as the capital of crop circles but why the county plays host to the vast majority these patterns remains a mystery.

Each year during Spring and Summer a new batch of the markings appear and continue to delight the country.
