Some of the most famous ancient megalithic sites in the world align to the summer solstice – in numerous different cultures: Egyptian, Pagan, Mayan, Essene, Buddhist, Native American, and Easter Islander. Below are some examples. There are others, but there may be many more that have not yet been discovered.

Sites such as the Great Pyramids and Easter Island, are speculated to be some of the most ancient in the known world, and to have links to the civilizations of Atlantis and possibly Lemuria. Others trace their lineage back to the original spiritual knowledge of the Mayans and ancient peoples of Britain.

These sites indicate the existence of an ancient cosmic spirituality, sometimes referred to as ancient solar religions – some highly advanced in their technology and understanding of the cosmos.

The Great Pyramids ~ Egypt

At the Great Pyramids of Egypt, when standing at the Sphinx, the sun on the summer solstice sets precisely between the two largest of the Great Pyramids. The sun’s descent between the two pyramids seems to enact the moment of creation where the sun emerged from between two mounds, but in reverse, perhaps signifying the return of the sun to the source of creation.

There is an incredibly mysterious temple at the ancient site of Abydos in Egypt. For thousands of years Abydos was believed to be the final resting place of the Egyptian god Osiris. Then in 1902 AD the Osireion temple was unearthed, which many believe, could have been the tomb of Osiris.

The Osireion shares incredible similarities with the Valley Temple that lies next to the Sphinx. Both the Valley Temple and Osireion are made out of huge unadorned granite blocks, which also look very similar to Stonehenge, and share the same construction methods and a number of mathematical characteristics (for example, both feature the number 17). The Valley Temple was built at the same time as the Sphinx, and its similarities with the Osireion seem to indicate that the Osireion may too have been built by the builders of the Sphinx.

The Osireion is dated to between 6,000 – 3,100 BC, although it is possibly much older. It had been unearthed at least once before when the Pharaoh Seti I uncovered it during the construction of his temple in around 1,280 BC.

Like the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, the Osirieon has a summer solstice sunset alignment. On the summer solstice, the light of the setting sun shines through a nearby gap in the Libyan Hills, which intersects the Osirieon temple.

The temple was constructed near a natural spring, which was used to feed a pool of water inside the temple that forms a moat around its central part. Some believe this was intended to symbolize the mound that rose from the primeval waters at the beginning of creation in ancient Egyptian texts, whilst others draw similarities to the sacred pagan healing well springs of the ancient Britons.

Other mysterious aspects of the site include a flower of life symbol found inscribed on some of the pillars of the temple, believed to have been left there by Greeks possibly around 300 BC. Ancient hieroglyphs of what appear to be hovercraft, and various flying machines like helicopters, can be found in the temple of Seti I next door.

The Essene Monastery ~ Qumran, Egypt

Said to be the inheritors of the ancient initiatory knowledge of the esoteric schools of Egypt, the Essenes were a mystical Jewish group which followed a solar (rather than traditional Jewish lunar calendar) and like the sites of ancient Egypt, had a sacred place aligned to the summer solstice sunset.

The Essene community is believed to have existed between around 200 BC to the 1^stcentury AD and lived together in various places in Palestine, Syria and Egypt. They are the authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls – a set of ancient mystical texts discovered in Qumran in Egypt in 1947 in the caves nearby one of their settlements.

The largest room of their stone communal building at Qumran is aligned so that the rays of the setting sun on the summer solstice illuminate the eastern wall where there are two altars. Two ancient historians had written that the Essenes worshiped the sun (just as the Egyptians did), and the discovery of this alignment along with their texts, now confirms this.

Additionally, a limestone sundial was discovered there, designed to measure the sun throughout the year rather than the day, and which could measure the solstices and equinoxes.

They appear to have been a solar religion, as many of the most ancient religions were – each morning they would begin their day with a prayer to the sun and they called themselves the Children of Light. It is believed that Jesus spent time with the Essenes who had been awaiting the arrival of a messiah, and the life of Jesus also follows the path of the sun.

Stonehenge ~ England

The summer solstice sunrise aligns with the avenue off the circle around Stonehenge. At sunrise the sun shines down the avenue into the center of the stone circle.

The giant megalithic stone circle of Stonehenge aligns most prominently to the summer solstice sunrise. On this day the sun rises over the Heel Stone outside the circle, and penetrates into its center to the altar stone.

A giant ancient avenue leading from Stonehenge to the nearby River Avon also aligns to the summer solstice sunrise. Another ancient stone circle called Bluehenge lies where this avenue and the river meet.

Yet another ancient site called Durrington Walls lies 2 miles north-east of Stonehenge. It contains a henge called the Southern Circle consisting of six concentric circles that would have been made out of large timber posts. The circle is aligned to the winter solstice sunrise, but like Stonehenge has a paved avenue leading to the River Avon and a post which acted as the Heel Stone, but aligned to the summer solstice sunset rather than sunrise.

It is possible that Stonehenge was part of a sacred landscape in which a number of sites were used ceremoniously during various celestial occasions, but it appears, particularly the summer solstice.

Tallaght Hill of the Fair Gods ~ Mount Seskin, Ireland

On Mount Seskin, the tallest of the Tallaght Hills (outside of the town of Tallaght) there are a number of ancient stone ruins including standing stones and passage cairns. The summer solstice sun rises in the distance, right beside the Lambay Volcano and reflects off a pool of water on the hill called Lin Oir, meaning golden pond.

Ajanta Caves ~ India

The Ajanta Caves are an extraordinary group of around 30 manmade caves cut into the side of a sheer cliff face. The cliff is naturally U-shaped and was hidden in a remote part of the jungle. The caves are believed to have been built by Buddhist monks by carving into the cliff face – what they created were elaborate shrines and temples, all cut into one single giant rock.

Work is believed to have begun on the caves in around 200 BC and ended around 480 – 650 CE. The caves contained sculptures and artwork centered around the life of Buddha.

Two of the caves align to celestial events.

Cave 26 aligns to the summer solstice sunrise. It contains a statue of Buddha seated within a stupa, which is illuminated by the rays of the rising sun.

Cave 19 aligns to the winter solstice sunrise (more about this in the Ancient Sacred Sites Aligned to the Winter Solstice). It contains a state of Buddha standing within a stupa, which is also illuminated by the rays of the rising sun.

A stupa is a symbolic monument which it is said Buddha uses to ascend and descend. The stupas for the winter and summer solstice at the Ajanta Caves differ in their design, perhaps for a symbolic reason.

The winter solstice is a time when the force known as the Christ, descends into a spiritually prepared person, explained in The Spiritual Meaning of the Winter Solstice.

The summer solstice is a time of ascent. In the cave aligned to the summer solstice Buddha is seated with his feet on a pedestal. Perhaps this was symbolic of him no longer being on the earth – as ancient Egypt gods were sometimes portrayed standing upon pedestals to show their heavenly status.

Serpent Mound ~ Ohio, United States

The serpent mound is a giant earth work in the shape of a serpent made by an ancient people’s who once lived in the United States. The head of the serpent faces the summer solstice sunset.

The mound is around 1,370 feet (420 m) long. The serpent holds an oval in its mouth, has seven undulating coils along its body and the tip of its tail is coiled 3 times. Its coils point to the winter solstice sunrise and equinox sunrise. It is believed there was an altar inside the oval at the head, in which ceremonies could have been conducted whilst watching the summer solstice sunset.

Many believe, using carbon dating and studying artifacts surrounding the site, that it was built by the Native American Adena culture who were active between 1000 BC to 1 CE, and who commonly built mounds and used sacred circles, and was later refurbished by subsequent Native American cultures.

However, there exists another very similar site in a very different part of the world – Scotland. At a place called Loch Nell there is an ancient serpent mound, around 300 ft long, and which used to have a circle of stones which contained an altar at its head. It too faced west, although not to the summer solstice sunset but so that looking back east across its body, it had a special view of 3 mountain peaks. Someone who viewed the site in the mid 19^th century before much of it was damaged and dismantled wrote:

The design of this particular serpent mound shares a number of similarities with the one in the United States.

“The mound was built in such a manner that the worshipper standing at the altar ‘would naturally look eastward, directly along the whole length of the Great Reptile, and across the dark lake, to the triple peaks of Ben Cruachan. This position must have been carefully selected, as from no other point are the three peaks visible.”

There are other serpent mounds in Scotland and Ireland. At least one dated to around 2000 BC used fire burnt stones, which were also apparently used in the building of the serpent mound in Ohio. The oval at the heads of these serpents may have represented the sun, thus forming the same symbol of a serpent with a sun disk on its head found throughout Egypt.

Could Ohio’s serpent mound be part of a lineage of people and knowledge that ran from Egypt, through ancient Britain and Europe, and is now barely traceable in North America?

Chaco Canyon ~ New Mexico, United States

Located near the ruins of an ancient city of the Native American Pueblo people’s is the famous Sun Dagger. Found high up on the top of what is called the Fajada Butte, a giant volcanic outcrop, is a stone carving in a spiral. Stone slabs especially arranged around it direct the sunlight so that on the summer solstice, a dagger of sunlight pierces the center of the spiral. Daggers of sunlight over different parts of the spiral also mark the winter solstice and the equinoxes.

Down below the Casa Rinconada, which is one of the five great kivas (temple buildings) of the Chaco Canyon city, aligns to the summer solstice sunrise. As the sun rises, a beam of light shines through a lone window and moves across the room until it illuminates one of the five niches on the Western wall.

Ahu Tongariki ~ Easter Island

The Ahu Tongariki, is the largest ahu (or stone platform) on Easter Island. On its stone platform stand 15 maoi (giant stone statues). These 15 statues face the summer solstice sunset, watching it disappear over the ocean. One of the 15 statues is the heaviest ever erected on the island, weighing 86 tones.

The Pyramid of the Magician at Uxmal ~ Yucatán, Mexico

Uxmal is a Mayan city that dates to between 600 – 1000 CE. The city’s tallest structure is called The Pyramid of the Magician. The pyramid’s western staircase faces the setting sun on the summer solstice.

Building is believed to have first begun on this pyramid in around 600 CE. This first pyramid temple was successively built upon four times, meaning that the pyramid is now made of five layered temples in total. This was a common Mayan building practice, thought to capture and amplify the power of the underlying structure.

When the original temple was excavated it was found with a door lintel decorated with the face of the rain god Chaac, however it is not known whether this was added later.

Unfortunately human sacrifice and ritual bloodletting was practiced here, as it was in other Mayan cities. Perhaps the original culture did not practice these rites, but at this stage it is not possible to tell.

At the ancient Mayan city called Tikal located in the dense jungles of Guatemala, there is evidence for the original spiritual and cosmic knowledge of the Mayans. The oldest part of Tikal is called the Lost World and consists of 38 structures. They are believed to have been set aside entirely for the observance of the cosmos, and are perhaps the oldest Mayan structures used for that purpose.

The main structure of the Lost World is a great pyramid, which was built in five successive layers over hundreds of years, just like the Mayan Pyramid of the Magician above. It began as a platform dating back to before 700 BC – the most ancient of any at Tikal. The platform faced east, looking over 3 other structures that aligned with the winter solstice, equinox, and summer solstice sunrise.

A similar grouping of structures, in which a pyramid is used as a viewing platform to see the sun rise on the winter solstice, equinoxes, and summer solstice over three temples, was also found in Guatemala at Uaxactun. The ancient Mayan name for this site however was Siaan K’aan which means “Born in Heaven”. Perhaps this could indicate that the Mayan Pyramid of the Magician above also started as a spiritual astronomical observatory, which was successively built on, and which degenerated into horrendous acts of sacrifice, as also happened at Tikal and other Mayan cities.

At Mount Rothwell in Australia, aboriginals built a stone ovid shaped arrangement around 50 meters in diameter. It aligns to the solstice and equinox sunsets, including the summer solstice sunset. It is unable to be dated – and could have been built anywhere between 25,000 years ago right up unto 1835.

What is so spiritually important about the summer solstice?

Today as a humanity we have such an incredible heritage of knowledge left by ancient peoples from all over the world who worked so hard to leave behind what they knew for future generations.

What they left are indicators of a deeper understanding of our place in the cosmos and an integration between the outer and inner worlds.

With our modern technology we have been able to ascertain a certain scientific understanding of the summer solstice, but as a day it passes just like any other. Whereas ancient peoples not only built structures around this date, but created ones that incorporated incredible spiritual symbols.

At the summer solstice the sun is at its greatest strength in its annual cycle, and it represents the apex of the sun’s journey throughout the year. And, as the cycle is completed, a new one begins.

In the solar religion the sun at the summer solstice represents the spiritual ascension, enlightenment and the return to oneness. It is the culmination of the individual’s journey to enlightenment that has been represented in the solstices and equinoxes of the year.

The solar religions formed the basis for many of today’s religions and share many common principles. The celebration of the summer solstice is the celebration not only of the life giving power of the physical sun, but is the celebration of the complete awakening of the spiritual son, symbolized by the physical sun.

The message of the solstices and equinoxes transcends both time and culture and forms a cosmic book for all who can read it.

An archaeological dig in Mexico has uncovered strange elongated skulls from more than a millenia ago.

The skulls have been seized on by UFO enthusiasts as evidence of ‘aliens’ with one poster on David Icke’s site asking, ‘Does this look human to you?’

The burial site contained 25 individuals, 13 with elongated skulls reminiscent of the monster from Ridley Scott’s Alien.

Five of the skulls also showed signs of dental mutilation. The remains were found 1,000 feet from the village of Onavas, south of Sonora in Mexico.

The ‘cranial deformation’ in the skulls is actually intentional carried out by binding the heads of babies to produce the bizarre effect.

For pre-Hispanic cultures in the area, longer skulls were a sign of social status.

‘Cranial deformation in Mesoamerican cultures was used to differentiate one social group from another and for ritual purposes,’ said Cristina Garcia Moreno, the head of the research project.

South American cultures such as the Maya and Inca practiced cranial deformation and the practice was also known in Germany and Ancient Greece.

The new find is unique in the region, although such elongated skulls have been found at numerous sites throughout South America.

‘This is the first pre-Hispanic cemetery in the state,’ say the researchers. ‘It is 1000 years old. These practices of cranial deformation and dental mutilation have never been seen before in groups in Sonora.’

Message from Cosmic Awareness

Rainbow Phoenix – Callista and Will Summerfield-Berlinghof – Blog – November 23 message from cosmic awareness.

Today I am doing something different. After all, it’s the end of the world and all.

I came across this interesting message from the http://rainbow-phoenix.com/ website.

Apparently, Will has been an “interpreter” for the last 30 years or so. He channels the message of an entity who calls itself Cosmic Awareness.

Personally I don’t know where I stand. I keep an open mind. Especially in these “interesting” times.

It is a long, long message, and you might want to make yourself a cup of tea.

We just do not know where the new truths will be coming from. If anything, this message might give us a snap shot of the collective unconscious in these so-called “End of Times” days.

Even science has quantum thinking to deal with.

Today is the 23rd of November, 2012, in Denmark, Western Australia. Present tonight are Will Berlinghof, Interpreter, Brett, Britt and Callista as energizers, for this Cosmic Awareness message.

Welcome, Cosmic Awareness. We are wondering if you have a message that you would like to give to us tonight.

That this Awareness, this Cosmic Awareness, is indeed available tonight to share a thought, to give information, to provide insight in these most interesting times. That this Awareness declares that It is indeed the time of the ending or that which has often been referred to as the End Times, a phrase that has historical precedence. This time period does indeed mark the final phase of a journey that has lasted thousands and thousands of years. That the experiment into dualistic reasoning, dualistic reality, dualism of mind and heart, is now complete. And that, indeed, these times, these interesting times, mark a great success in the experiment of the negative force being stronger than the force of Light, or that which would be understood to be the essence of God. This experiment was designed to see what would occur if those of spirit who descended into the body did not realize their fullness of being, did not truly evolve to a point where they understood that they are indeed spiritual beings having a physical existence.

At the same time, it was determined in this experience of consciousness, that the negative would be predominant, that it would take ultimate control and lead the planet to the brink of destruction. That this situation had indeed occurred in other times, that which is of great importance, is the time that is the time of Atlantis. And it could be said that this time around, it was decided to see if the result could change. That this has been a continuance of those Atlantean experiences and experiment, for many who are the leaders of nations, many who are the authorities, are indeed the same ones who were there during Atlantean times, and who misdirected that continent towards a merging in dark forces, the reptilian/Orion forces, which did eventually take control there. Just as they have taken control once again in this modern historical time. The difference this time is that it will not be allowed to again occur. That these dark ones completely submit this planet, Mother Earth, Gaia, to the same fate that occurred on the continent of Atlantis, which also led to a downfall of civilization at that time.

Indeed, at this time, the intent and design of great spirit, of the Divine, of the essence of God, has been and is to allow these ones to come to this point, but, instead of destroying the continent of North America and subjecting the whole world to catastrophe, a greater event would occur. This greater event is the extinguishing of that experiment and the uplifting of human consciousness, as well as the planetary consciousness. The planetary consciousness did not evolve at the time of Atlantis. That is why the experiment continued onwards, after those peoples of Atlantis reassembled themselves in various locations around the world. That, on this occasion, the force of consciousness has indeed finally reached a point where Mother Earth, Gaia, is ready herself, first and foremost, to ascend into a new level of consciousness that will be 5th dimensional in nature.

That humanity has also come to a point of crucial decision. And that while the forces that are in control and in power still would have it their way, there is a sizeable number that constitute a tipping point, that has finally been reached. That number is one that is in some ways irrelevant. For what is of more importance is that the tipping point has been reached, and a sizeable number of humanity has reached this point. That there is some speculation by individuals of what that number needs to be. But, it is inconsequential, for truly, what is of importance, is not even the amount of people on the planet’s surface who have reached that point, but that many have reached a high point of conscious awareness.

And that also what is of extreme importance is that individuals are taking responsibility for their own journey towards evolution of spirit and soul. Ultimately, it does not matter if two billion reach this tipping point, or twelve million or ten. What ultimately matters here is that each individual takes full responsibility for their own ascension process. And that in achieving this, they will spread their consciousness outward and they will connect with the many others who are also blossoming at this time, who are also spreading the wings of their consciousness outward to touch the many who have reached this point.

Why this is relevant is because it now means that the living force of the Divine can be stronger than it has ever been. Can be of a nature that it can promote even more, this acceleration of consciousness. That many are concerned that in these times, mass destruction will occur. But, as the web of consciousness spreads around the planet, and as many more are reaching this tipping point, the web creates a matrix of higher consciousness. The living force that is the Divine, indeed, is such that It now is available and is accelerating in these end times. This means that it is not only the machinations and plans of those dark ones who have, indeed, a hidden agenda that are in force, but also that the Divine essence of God Itself is participating now in ways that have not been seen before on this planet. And the ways of the Divine are much more powerful than any machination and plans of the dark ones who have had control for so long.

Many find it hard to believe that the force of the Divine could be as potent or as powerful, for the truth of the matter is, for most they have not ever experienced this in a personal way or a collective way. Thus, many would energize the dark force before the forces of Light, before the forces of the Divine.

That this Awareness brings this information forward at this time to assist the many of the lightworkers, those who have volunteered to be in physical existence during these crucial times. To have hope. To have a deeper understanding that one and all of those who are the lightworkers are not alone. That you, each individual hearing these words, who is of the light, who is of the Divine, who has been seeking their inner awareness and connection to the Divine, awaken now to a much greater truth than has ever been popular in recent times. That the presence of the Divine God essence is now available, and can be tapped into. It is increasing in Its strength and it will bring about a mass conversion of many who are straddling the fence, who have some precepts of these times and of their purpose and plan here, but have doubts, are still held back and constrained by their negativity and their lack of faith and belief.

That the living force of the Divine is in all things, is in the air and in the earth. It is in every creature, every plant, flower. In every molecule and cell. It is in the essence of Mother Earth, in her being. It is in the fabric of each human being. In each cell. In the DNA structure itself. And as the tipping point has been reached, as the energies of the Divine have touched a significant number, that this consciousness will begin to spread very quickly to those who have long prepared themselves, and even to those who have waffled, who have toyed with and played with, but have not yet made the deeper commitment. This energy is now available on this planet. And this Awareness wishes at this time to make this announcement, that it is so.

Do not simply look to the proof that is being presented on your television each and every night, that it is a dark world and that there is brutality and violence with little hope. Look instead inside of yourself to see the burgeoning energies of the Divine that are now increasing. Look around you to the planet herself. See her beauty and her radiance. Understand that as you accept this living Divine force, it will energize you. It will enhance you. It will elevate your frequencies and vibrations and it will lead you forward. This is not, unfortunately, to say that all will be open to this living force, all will understand it or accept it. For many have stayed asleep. Many have as their spiritual purpose, the intent and desire to have the experience of a planet in chaos and destruction while the ascension process proceeds, not ever understanding that this is a moment of a shifting consciousness, of the intervention of Divine consciousness and it is a state of ignorance and being asleep.

But, as it was and is the soul purpose to have such experiences, this Awareness says that, even this is part of the higher plan of the Divine. It is part of the ongoing and the evolution of each and every soul, and each and every aspect of the soul that is having a physical experience.

For those who are awakening more and more to the Divine essence that is beginning to truly stir now and will accelerate over the next three weeks until the 12th and then go into super mode from the 12th of December until the 21st of September. This Awareness says to you: all, look for the miracles and the magic of life. Look for the wonder and the joy in the unfolding events. Recognize the greater purpose behind the events. Do not be fooled or misled by those who preach violence and destruction, chaos and doom. That even while the events unfold around you, that are chaotic and upheaval, that are destructive and demoralizing, do not be led into these energies. Recognize them for what they are: the death throes of a experiment in consciousness.

That you are, each and one of you, Divine in your nature. That each and every one is a part of the Divine plan for these times. And that many have come specifically, indeed, this Awareness would say, all have come specifically at this time to have the experience of these times. Those who have volunteered to be present in this time of unfolding, this time of ending, this time of new beginnings, have done so with clear inner awareness that they indeed did volunteer. They have come to the planet at this time to have this experience. Those who stay asleep, those who stay within the control and the manipulation of those dark forces also have come onto this planet at this time to have their own unique experiences. And those who have played in darkness, taken control, enslaved, destroyed, manipulated, and controlled the masses for so long are also here by intent, even if it is not recognized by them ultimately. They may think that they have control yet. They may feel that they can still manipulate events in their favor and maintain the blindness and ignorance of the masses to their benefit, but they are wrong.

Many forces are at movement here, are in movement now, in motion now, beyond any plan, thoughts, ideas that those who have played in darkness for so long can even fathom or entertain. That they cannot fully see the future any longer, for even though they are based in a 4th-dimensional consciousness and have much of their information from this level of consciousness that is not controlled by time, thus they can see many of the timelines, many have been hidden from them. And, therefore, they have continued on their way in the assumption that their viewing of future scenarios will all work to their benefit. They will not.

There is indeed the X-factor that is now beginning to make itself understood, known, perceived and recognized. This X-factor is the Divine spark, the Light and Love of the Godhead, the God essence, the Divine being that is all and everything. It is even beyond that of the comprehension of many of the lightworkers, but it is in unison with their inner perception, their inner feelings, their inner sensitivity. They understand from places beyond the rational that they are here to be part of this great unfolding. As each understands this, each moves towards a greater participation in these unfolding events. Move beyond the point where fear dominates and controls, for they will see the unfolding events as those that have so long been promised, both in many of the historical predictions made throughout the centuries, as well as the inner state of awareness that is rapidly accelerating. Absolutely expanding into new levels of comprehension that have for so long been unavailable and inaccessible. Thus, it is that this Awareness says: be joyful. Be uplifted. Be spontaneous in the celebration of the Divine and the unfolding events. This is not a tragic time, but rather the heralded time that has so long been predicted, so long awaited by so many. That this is indeed the end times of the old and the new dawn of the enlightenment and ascension of consciousness.

That this Awareness is open for questions at this time.

Thank you, Awareness, for that opening message. I would ask for further clarification regarding a statement you made in the opening message where you indicated that the influx of energies coming through, which would start to increase on the 12th of December through to the 21st of September, I think it was that you said. Does this mean that this energy will take around the 21st of December and then slowly taper off towards September of next year? Or what entirely was the reason for you mentioning September?

That indeed you are correct. This Awareness will explain further, though. That the 21st of December is the time of completion. That on some level, this Awareness meant the 21st of December as the date of completion, and that the nine-day period between the 12th of December and the 21st of December would see the most intense events of all, the most intense energies at play, in order to bring the planet to that time of transition and ascension.

But, that this Awareness is also stating that there will be a continuance of those energies after the date of completion, as things indeed wind down. That it took many months to build the energies to this point. Indeed, this Awareness would even say it took many years, decades, and centuries to reach this point in time. And it will not simply shut off for those many timelines that will continue on the Planet A/B and A. And that for those who move into the balanced and harmonized energies of timelines that will be on the balanced and harmonized Planet A/B, that there will be a continual wind-down until the 21st of September, 2013.

That many do think and believe that the planet will be destroyed or completely wiped out up until the 21st, which is final destruction at this time. This Awareness does not entirely see it that way for all timelines. There are several scenarios, indeed, that will lead to Planet B, where a huge extinction event will occur and life on the surface of this planet will no longer be as abundant or fertile as it once was. And many of those timelines in this post-apocalyptic scenario, these post-apocalyptic timelines, will experience the destruction of the planet to a large degree and will exist underground. It is the main reason why so many of the Powers That Be have focused their attention to building their bases and habitats underground, for they know what is coming above ground. And that for them, they will scurry into their rat holes in order to survive, allowing the masses on the surface to be eradicated. But, this is only in those timelines of a Planet B scenario. And it is seen that on those levels, that what will be left is not the fertile and vibrant planet that exists now, Mother Earth, Gaia, but rather the shell of Gaia. The essence and consciousness of Gaia having left, having ascended, leaving that which is the shell of her former body behind, which will become the Planet B location for many of those who wish to experience timelines in such a survivalist environment. There are many timelines involved on the Planet B scenario. Not all will be of this nature, but this Awareness speaks of this now so that it is distinguished that the energies that this Awareness was speaking of, of winding down, will not apply strictly to the majority of timelines experienced by those choosing a Planet B experience after the completion of the ascension process on December 21st.

But for those who will continue to experience the dualistic experiment in consciousness, but a new variation of that theme, one that will no longer have those dark forces in control and dominant, will no longer see the imbalance that has been the design and purpose of this present experiment. That these are the ones that will be experiencing the winding down of the energies that have ramped up over the weeks and months of this past year, 2012. That if it is so that they have experienced major events of chaos and destruction, it will take many months to clear things up for those who have those timelines that they will be experiencing.

There will be others who will go through the three days of the void. And it is during these three days, that the planet itself will be reformed and reintegrated into the new matrix and model that will be the new version of Planet A/B. This, of course, the balanced and harmonized Planet A/B. Let this Awareness be clear: It is stating that some will come through the event and they will remember the upheaval. They will remember the chaos and they will deal with this and recreate their societies, energies being available to assist them over a period of time, coming to a gradual tapering and ending, in and around September 21st, 2013. Yet, there are other timelines on the Planet A/B scenario, where many will not be as subject to the memories of the upheaval and chaos. This is that period of time that this Awareness has referred to as the three days of the void. Many call this the “three days of the darkness.” But it will be a period where many who choose to carry on without the traumatic stress that might accompany such upheaval will indeed go into this state of suspended animation, if you will, while all around them is reformed and re-installed. And that they will come out of it, seeing the planet in a way as if all continued without interruption, and they will not necessarily have the trauma experience that others, who choose to have it, may have.

That this is why this Awareness inadvertently spoke of the 21st of September, without first mentioning December 21st. It is simply seen as a winding down period. But let this Awareness be very clear again here: that the period of time between the 12th of December and the 21st of December will be that which is the most crucial period available in the ascension process, and it is here that the greatest changes will have affect. Is this clear?

Yes. Thank you, Awareness, for making that clear. Can you also help us at this time in giving us some idea of how we should be using our imagination?

That this is extremely important at this time. That this Awareness has talked of the importance of imagination, previously. But It wishes to re-emphasize what It has said before. That it is imagination about all that will assist individuals during these times to create the timelines that they will choose to experience. Imagination is a very powerful force of creativity and creation. And the Powers That Be know this. They know it so well that they have tried to extinguish it in the human psyche. They have created educational systems where those who have strong and powerful imaginations are restricted and even sometimes punished. Their educational system does not value free thinking and imagination, but repetitiveness and no thought, no thinking, original thinking, that it is rewarded when one simply follows the teachings given. Whereas free thinking is often punished, as this Awareness has said. This does not stop imagination, it simply makes it harder for those who have imagination in the school system, especially in America at this time. But, this is a world-wide trend as well.

That imagination is the tool of the mind and the heart and the spirit, that can see something being so, can image it or imagine it. It is that which will most direct the individual in the creation of the timelines that they wish to experience and are guided to experience. Imagination works both in the light and in the dark. That those in power have manipulated for a long time, the imagination of the populace with their films and their books and their news and their teachings. Thus it is, when there is a preponderance of negative films, for example, stressing and emphasizing time and time again, the violence of the world. The negativity. The brutality, that is there. That the imagination is funneled into such perceptions and the individual begins to believe, because they imagine it, because their imagination is being coerced to the belief that it is a violent world and they thus believe this to be so.

And they create the timeline experience that validates this. They live in cities of violence. They experience random acts of violence. They do not trust one another any longer. They do not help one another. This was seen, unfortunately, during Hurricane Sandy, when individuals barred their doors to others in need of help. One case, where a woman in desperation knocked at the door of one who refused to open the door and her two young children were swept away. This is the type of world that those in power have created and it has been created by the manipulation of the beliefs of individuals by curtailing and restricting their imagination and their ability to free think, think freely.

That the imagination can also be that of the Light, where one imagines and images the new world, the world that the individual, each individual, would love to live in and exist in. Where they can imagine a planet free of pollution. Free of violence. Free of the dark ones. All of this is part of the imagination.

It has often been said that truth will set one free, but imagination will see it to be so. Will create it. Imagination is truly that which sets one free. And that this is something that all must understand and use in these times now, where the Divine spark is indeed finally coming through strongly, where one can align their imagination to this new energy and allow themselves, each and every one, to see themselves in the energy, to experience the energies of the Divine, and to imagine the bright new world that lies ahead. Does this answer your question?

Yes. Thank you, Awareness. In a recent personal reading, you mentioned the term, “The Children of God”. Would you like to explain that concept in relation to what you have just told us about using our imagination as being part of the Divine?

Indeed. The children of God are all of those on the planet at this time. That all are the children of God, if one understands that all are spirit beings having a physical existence.

But, more specifically, that this term, “The Children of God”, is in direct reference to the many who have come onto this planet, specifically from those higher levels of consciousness, as volunteers to assist this process of ascension of Mother Earth, Gaia, and humanity. That they are also often called the lightworkers. The Wanderers. The Servants of the Divine. But, that the term “The Children of God”, also refers to those who are the Elohim. The Elohim are those who were of the original inhabitants of the original experiment of Planet Earth, millions of years ago. They evolved. They moved into higher levels of spirit, higher levels of consciousness. They have always been involved with this planet and her evolution, and the evolution of humanity as well. That there are many who come from this level of consciousness, who are inhabitants on the planet itself, inhabiting the bodies of the many who are the lightworkers.

That these are the ones that the term “The Children of God”, or alternatively, the Children of the Elohim, refers to. That this Awareness also suggests that there are two versions of the Elohim as well. There have been the Elohim of the Light and the Elohim of the Dark. The dark ones are also participating on the evolutionary process of Mother Earth, as well as those who are indeed in cooperation with the dark Elohim. The Orions are also part of that construction in consciousness.

But that it is now time for the light Elohim, the children of god, to make their move, to come into power, to guide humanity forward. Thus, the lightworkers, the wanderers, the servants of the Divine, the children of God, are now indeed coming finally into their power. And it is a power that will lead the planet to her ascension and those, the many who are the servants, the children of god, into their ascension.

That this Awareness says, in speaking tonight of the introduction at a higher level than ever before of the Divine energies as they now begin to ramp up, gear up, involve themselves to the highest degree in the unfolding events, It has spoken of imagination and how powerful the tool of imagination is in this process of imagining oneself connected to the high Divine energies, of creating the timelines that one wishes to participate in and not simply being prisoner to the machinations of those Powers That Be, who have operated in darkness and from the dark.

It has mentioned as well the children of God, the children of Elohim, that those who are the lightworkers, the wanderers, the servants of the Divine, will begin now to recognize themselves more and more as those who are the children of God, participating with their imagination in the acceleration of the Divine energies that are coming forward at this time to redefine the world. Redefine consciousness. To elevate humanity and Mother Earth into higher states of consciousness.

That all of this and more is indeed that which is present now and is ramping up, as this Awareness has said. It is crucial to hold these thoughts, this knowledge, this knowing, for there will be many forces there, out there, that would knock one off of the log, would divert one, would entrap one in these false imaginings, that it is a world that is being destroyed, that is hopeless, that is without merit and without reason.

That this is a planet of ultimate reason, God’s reason, the Divine reason, and that as these times unfold, remember always that you, each and every one of you, who hear these words and those who know it from within who have not heard these words, that they are the sparks of God, they are the acceleration of Divine consciousness into the darkness that has been bringing new light, new love, new hope, new compassion, and new joy into this new world. It is a time of great rejoicing and celebration that, finally, the forces of the Divine that has seen to be so absent for so long are indeed making themselves known, showing themselves. That the illusion of destruction, death, chaos, that many will see around them, must always be remembered as that which is necessary at this time to sweep away the old, to sweep away the dross, and to clear the way for the recreation of the planet and the matrix that is now being formed. That they do not descend down into the chaos, but rise above it. Know that as things seem to vanish and extinguish and are removed, it is simply part of the reformulation of the planet that is underway, and that this will be completed by December 21st.

For those who feel nothing is changing, be, indeed, satisfied that you are creating a world where you are not necessarily needing to go through the death and chaos. But, even on those levels, there will be many changes and simply because it seems that there is no change, does not mean that change is not happening and that many timelines are full of change. It simply means that the timeline you are creating as the individual is one where you may not necessarily perceive these changes. But, this Awareness says indeed many will see and know the changes. Many will see and know the inner truth of these changes, and many, indeed, will move now towards acceleration and expansion, will move now towards the attainment of that which they have come for: planetary ascension, personal ascension and ascension of that group of beings that this Awareness calls the Children of God.

This completes tonight’s message. It is done. In beauty, it is done. It is complete.

The announcement, on July 30^th 2005, that a new celestial body has been discovered made media news around the world; and because the reports were headlined “Astronomers Claim Discovery of 10^th Planet,” my phone started to constantly ring… Some callers shouted “Congratulations!”; others, more cautiously, asked: “Is it Nibiru?” – “Nibiru” being the planet of which I had been writing and talking ever since my book The 12^th Planet was published decades ago.

The announcement by a Caltech astronomer, Michael Brown, said that he and two colleagues, scanning the heavens in 2003, found a celestial body (designated 2003-UB-313) that they now realize might be larger than Pluto (the ninth planet) and thus qualify as the 10^th planet in our solar system.  Lacking many vital data except that it orbits the Sun at a very steep angle to the ecliptic (the orbital plane of Earth and other planets) and is now about 9 billion miles from us, the discovery’s announcement was explained as prompted by concern that a computer hacker, a “rogue astronomer”, or a team of Spanish astronomers claiming to have found such a body (that they designated 2003-EL-61) would pre-empt the Brown team.

A Planet, A “Planetoid” – Or What?

While the Brown team employed the term “tenth planet” merely due to its presumed size (“larger than Pluto”), other astronomers have already pointed out that it could be just one of several (perhaps even numerous) planetoids that are assumed to exist in what is called the Kuiper Belt; the Brown team found one such object not long ago and named it Sedna (and is rumored to be readying an announcement regarding yet another one, 2005-FY-9).

All that has kindled a debate among astronomers regarding what is to be deemed a full-fledged planet, or a lesser “planetoid,” or just a “Kuiper Belt Object.” 

Among the many questions that are unanswered is whether the new celestial body, if a planet, has an atmosphere; that the object could not be sensed by the infra-red Spitzer Telescope (which the Brown team tried to do) suggests that it is just “an icy rock.”

The Ancient Data

So is it Nibiru?  Have astronomers now found the planet from which, according to my understanding of Mesopotamian and biblical texts and illustrations, astronauts had come to Earth some 450,000 years ago?

Based on the sketchy information so far available, the answer is No.

This regrettable answer stems, first of all, from comparing the information released regarding the new object and the ancient data concerning Nibiru.  The latter was described as a radiating planet (i.e. one that has its own heat source and atmosphere), a planet that sustains life, home planet of the Anunnaki (“Those who from heaven to Earth came”) – the biblical Nefilim.

When the Mesopotamian Epic of Creation (Enuma Elish) is treated, as I have suggested, as a sophisticated cosmogony and not as an allegorical myth, the origin and composition of a twelve member solar system become clear.  While the existence of varied celestial objects including numerous moons of various planets have been recognized in the ancient texts (and depictions), only our Moon and only Pluto (once Saturn’s moon) have been included in the count.  Together with all the planets we know of today (including those discovered only in the past 150 years) and one more – Nibiru – the Sun’s “family” added up to twelve.

Such a solar system was depicted repeatedly on cylinder seals and monuments (now on display in museums in London and Berlin), as shown by illustrations in my books.  One made famous by my writings is cylinder seal VA-243 in the Berlin Museum of Near Eastern antiquities, which shows the complete solar system with Nibiru passing between Jupiter and Mars when its orbit brings it back to our vicinity:

The cylinder seal is only a little larger than an inch, engraved (as all such seals were) in reverse.  The sizes of the planets shown can thus be considered only approximations, relative to each other.  Even so, it is evident that Nibiru was deemed not only much larger than Pluto, but also than Earth.

 It was not an “icy rock” in the Kuiper Belt.

The Search For “Planet X”

 It so happened that just two weeks before the recent news, at the Sitchin Reunion in Chicago July 15 – 16, 2005, I reviewed the search for “Planet X” by various astronomers.  A significant highlight of that search was the announcement in December 1983 by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory that IRAS (the infra-red telescope) has found a planet, much larger than Earth, moving in the distant heavens in our direction.  The announcement – hastily retracted as a “misunderstanding” – prompted the Reagan-Gorbachov meetings and President Reagan’s speech at the U.N. about the common danger to Mankind from “an alien planet out there.”

 My audience was treated both to a video presentation of Reagan’s speech (and Soviet video footage concerning the Phobos Incident), and to a never-before-shown video of my interview of the astronomer who was in charge of the official U.S. government search for Planet X — Dr. Robert Harrington at the United States Naval Observatory.  Speaking of the planet as a matter-of-fact, Dr. Harrington described it as 2 -3 times the size or mass of Earth, with an atmosphere, “habitable;” and compared its position to the one in my books’ drawings:

Dr. Harrington died suddenly soon after our interview in August 1991; but what he knew, and what the ancients knew, must remain the only valid criterion for answering the imperative question:  Is it Nibiru?

Some 445,000 years ago, astronauts from another planet came to Earth in search of

What emotions, rivalries, beliefs, morals (or the lack thereof) motivated the principal players in
the celestial and space sagas? What were the relationships that caused mounting tensions on
Nibiru and on Earth, what tensions arose between old and young, between those who had come
from Nibiru and those born on Earth? And to what extent was what had happened determined
by Destiny-a destiny whose record of past events holds the key to the future?
Would it not be auspicious were one of the key players, an eyewitness and one who could
distinguish between Fate and Destiny, to record for posterity the How and Where and When and
Why of it all-the First Things and perhaps the Last Things’
But that is precisely what some of them did do; and foremost among them was the very leader
who had commanded the first group of astronauts!
Scholars and theologians alike now recognize that the biblical tales of Creation, of Adam and
Eve, the Garden of Eden, the Deluge, the Tower of Babel, were based on texts written down

that they obtained their knowledge of past events-many from a time before civilizations began,
even before Mankind came to be-from the writings of the Anunnaki (“Those Who from Heaven
to Earth Came”)-the “gods” of antiquity.
As a result of a century and a half of archaeological discoveries in the ruins of the ancient
civilizations, especially in the Near East, a great number of such early texts have been found;
the finds have also revealed the extent of missing texts-so-called lost books-which are either
mentioned in discovered texts or are inferred from such texts, or that are known to have
existed because they were cataloged in royal or temple libraries.

One of the more impressive displays at the Sanxingdui Museum, in Guanghan of Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, is a bronze statue of a barefoot man with anklets and clenched hands.

The 2.62-meter-high, 180-kilogram statue is thought to represent a king of the Shu Kingdom. Shu was the name for Sichuan in ancient times.

Dating back 3,100 years, the king’s statue is crowned with a sun motif and coated with three layers of tight, short sleeved bronze “clothing”, which is decorated with a dragon pattern and overlaid with a checked ribbon.

Huang Nengfu, a professor of arts and design at Tsinghua University and an eminent researcher in Chinese clothing from different dynasties, considers the garment to be the country’s oldest existing dragon robe. He also thinks that the pattern is the work of the famous Shu Embroidery.

The robe has changed the traditional view that Shu Embroidery began in the mid-Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Instead, it shows Shu Embroidery appeared in the Shang Dynasty (c.16th century-c.11th century BC), according to Wang Yuqing, a Taiwan-based Chinese clothing historian.

The bronze statue of the Shu king is one of the four most important cultural relics to be found in the Sanxingdui Ruins in Guanghan, a city 40 kilometers from Chengdu.

Sanxingdui, which means “three star mounds” in English, is so named because the ruins are located in a village where there are three mounds.

Since 1929, more than 10,000 relics, dating between 5,000 and 3,000 years ago have been unearthed in the city’s Sanxingdui Ruins. The excavations have yielded some of the most significant Chinese archaeological discoveries of the 20th century.

Archaeologists around the world were excited by the unearthing of large palatial remains in 1980, the remnants of eastern, western and southern walls in 1984 and the discovery of two large sacrificial pits in 1986.

These discoveries proved that Sanxingdui contains the ruins of an ancient city that was the political, economic and cultural center of the ancient Shu Kingdom.

A metropolis of its time, Sanxingdui boasted highly developed agricultural and mining systems, and produced ceramics and sacrificial tools.

Before the excavation of Sanxingdui, it was believed that Sichuan had a history dating back 3,000 years. Thanks to the excavation, it is now believed that civilized culture first appeared in Sichuan 5,000 years ago.

Archaeologists say that the Sanxingdui Ruins also dispel theories that the Yellow River was the sole starting point of Chinese civilization.

Of more than 10,000 relics unearthed in Sanxingdui, the nearly 1,000 found in 1986 in the two sacrificial pits are considered the most valuable. In these two pits, bronze, gold, jade and marble artifacts, pottery, bone implements, elephant tusks and objects made of ivory were found. Archaeologists also discovered cowries and roughly 800 large bronze relics.

In addition to the many bronze and gold masks, the most valuable finds from the two pits included the bronze statue of the Shu king, a gold scepter and a bronze “spirit tree”.

With a length of 1.42 meters, a diameter of 2.3 centimeters and a weight of 0.5 kilograms, the design on the gold scepter features fish, birds and human figures. The scepter is believed to be a symbol for a monarchic or theocratic order, or a combination of the two.
Consisting of a pedestal, a trunk and part of a dragon, the 3.95-meter-tall bronze tree is the oldest, tallest and largest of its kind in the world. Some think that it represents a legendary spirit tree, while many researchers believe that the tree was an all-embracing symbol.

Many theories also surround the fall of the Sanxingdui civilization, which seemingly disappeared without a trace, leaving behind objects unlike anything found in any other period of Chinese history.

Archaeologists have been left wondering what the purpose of the objects was and how such an ancient culture, at the very beginning of Chinese civilization, could be so advanced.

Some speculate that aliens might be behind the mysterious relics after locals in the area alleged that they spotted UFOs in the area 20 years ago.

The Sanxingdui Ruins cover 12 square kilometers, of which only four have been excavated. Chen Xiandan, deputy curator of the Sichuan Provincial Museum says: “It is likely that more exciting archaeological discoveries will be made.”
