“Winds of political change are blowing from Tunisia to Russia and everywhere in between, opening a window of opportunity through which previously unimaginable political options may now be considered: radical decentralization, Internet-based direct democracy, secession, and even the peaceful dissolution of nations, offering the possibility for a new world “disorder.” Celente
Someone asked why do I do this blog ? It’s quite simple really. Being an avid reader I come across dozens of stories and studies in my daily life.
I grew up with a fresh cup of coffee and a newspaper for breakfast. The Internet has replaced the newspaper efficiently: The Internet makes it possible to archive the best of those stories. That’s why I do it. It helps me grow and stay astute. There are so many lies and agendas out there that one has to sift thru myriad gems of truth buried in the great avalanche of deceit.
Francis Bacon (1605) wrote “Critical thinking is a desire to seek, patience to doubt, fondness to meditate, slowness to assert, readiness to consider, carefulness to dispose and set in order; and hatred for every kind of imposture.” –
Citizen of the world. I have lived in Europe, Montreal, Ottawa, and now enjoying Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.
Love to read and learn.
Formally, I have been educated in criminology, social work, and political science, but I am interested in anything that is involved in human evolution.
This site allows me to store stories and videos that I find interesting and extraordinary (some times).
I truly believe in sharing knowledge and critical thinking.
The Internet is changing the way in which we think and interact. I believe that it will play a significant role in the upcoming evolutionary leap that all of us are about to experience. I believe it is happening right now.

yes, yes, yes… this wonderful internet world is I’m sure – as you are, – part of the evolutionary step-up that mankind is in the process of taking….
Lou, thank you for stopping and liking a post today. I watched the same CBC newscast and wondered the same question about the wealthy criminals who get away with many crimes. It is easier, I guess, to go after the little people with little power and wealth to fight back. I look forward to following your blog.
Take care,
Ivon
